Thermablend MPG
Thermablend, for use in applications which include ground or air source heat pumps, underfloor heating and solar thermal applications. A range of geothermal heat transfer fluids offering key functions including market leading low viscosity and high thermal conductivity for exceptional heat pump performance. Thermablend is biodegradable, low hazard and contains a specially formulated biocide with increased thermal stability plus an organic acid technology inhibitor package which is free from any nitrite, amine, phosphate, borax, silicate and 2-Ethylhexanoate.
- Thermablend heat transfer fluid, is available in either IND (ethylene glycol) or MPG (Propylene glycol)
- Thermablend contains a specially formulated biocide with increased thermal stability
- Can be used to top up existing glycol systems, subject to system condition
- Thermablend contains an organic acid technology inhibitor package which is free from any nitrite, amine, phosphate, borax, silicate and 2-Ethylhexanoate
- Thermablend can cope with the demands of repeated thermal cycling, and extreme temperature ranges
- Thermablend boasts market leading low viscosity resulting in reduced parasitic pump load
- Thermablend is non-toxic and biodegradable, meaning it is better for the environment
- Thermablend has high thermal conductivity, increased the efficiency and longevity of heat pumps
- Due to its high antifreeze properties, Thermablend maintains optimal performance in extreme temperature ranges resulting in high system efficiency
- Inhibitor package meets the following standards: ASTM D3306, D1384, D4340 & D2570
- Ideal for ground source and air source heat pump applications
- For use in solar thermal applications
- For use in underfloor heating
