Specialist solutions for agriculture
Aqueous ammonia is a valuable ingredient in the production of fertilisers, supplying essential nitrogen that crops need to grow. Nitrogen is one of the three major nutrients required for plant development, and by using aqueous ammonia as a base material, fertiliser manufacturers can provide farmers with effective products that improve yields and crop quality. Many UK soils are prone to acidification, which can reduce the availability of nutrients and limit crop performance. Aquamonia can be used to help balance soil pH, supporting healthier growing conditions and improving the efficiency of fertiliser uptake. This helps farmers maximise the return on their inputs while maintaining soil productivity over the long term.
